Matthew McGraw focuses his practice on complex civil litigation in state and federal courts across the country.
In 2022, Mr. McGraw was a co-recipient of the “Outstanding Trial Lawyer of the Year” award given by the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association for his work on the opioid litigation in Northeast Tennessee.
In law school, he won the College’s moot court competition his 3L year, the final round of which was argued in front of a panel of eight federal appeals court judges and Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan. Additionally, he won Best Oralist and Best Brief for the competition. Mr. McGraw also received the Ogdon & Sullivan, P.A. Moot Court Brief Writing Award and was named the Outstanding Student Attorney for 2012-2013 for his work in the College’s advocacy clinic.
