Jerry Martin Advises Donald Trump Jr. to Get Off Twitter in Tennessean Article

On July 11, 2017, our law partner, Jerry Martin, was featured  in a Tennessean article citing Tennessee legal experts who say Donald Trump Jr.’s emails point to possible criminal acts. “Donald Trump Jr.’s own admissions here should make his newly hired defense attorney pretty nervous. If he were my client, I’d tell him to disable his Twitter account, put his phone down and let me do the talking,” Martin said.

 

 

“It violates federal law to solicit anything of value from a foreign country that might benefit a campaign. Purportedly damaging information on your opponent is of course valuable,” said Jerry Martin, the U.S. attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee from 2010 to 2013.
