Dart Transit and Mainstream Transportation Sued by Truck Driver in Class and Collective Action for Unpaid Wages

Our firm, Barrett Johnston Martin & Garrison, LLC, and The Kick Law Firm, APC have filed a lawsuit against Dart Transit and Mainstream Transportation for failing to pay their truckdrivers the minimum wage. The complaint can be found here.

The lawsuit was filed by Kimberly Byars as a class and collective action on behalf of other Dart and Mainstream truck drivers. It alleges that Dart and Mainstream classified drivers as independent contractors rather than properly paying the minimum wage as required by federal law. The lawsuit seeks unpaid minimum wages, liquidated damages, and damages for breach of contract and unjust enrichment for failing to pay truck drivers all wages owed.

If you were a truck driver for Dart or Mainstream in the last three years and would like to learn more about how the lawsuit may affect your rights or would like to find out how to join, call our office at 615-244-2202.
